and big up to Woebot (again!) for the wicked Kosmische guest slot on Tuesday night. Very much the outer reaches of the krautrock diaspora. His mate Sacha had some lovely records too.

Going to have more time on my hands soon, so this should expand beyond being just a posting board for gigs and things.

but just to mention:

SECOND SIGHT

Resonance's 2nd birthday party is happening on the 15th May at the Conway Hall (Red Lion Square, Holborn).

with a multitude of live acts, speakers and DJs (including magz hall, myself, paul b. davies and, toast of the blogosphere, DJ WRONGSPEED!

it starts at 7pm and it's free.

Tickets £8/ £6 adv

Doors open 7pm

ALBERT NEWTON will be on stage at 8pm

ALBERT NEWTON is Charles Hayward (drums, percussion), John Edwards (Bass), Pat Thomas (Electronic things) and Harry Beckett (trumpet) -- very amazing heavy funk space improvised jazz type stuff (this is why The Wire will never employ me)

anyway -- it'll be really good! you should go!

Man like WOEBOT going to be doing the Kosmische show on Resonance a week tomorrow (that's the 27th, folks) from 10pm - 11.30 so check it out.

Repeat run of Red Zero Radio this Friday (I think) following the Lounge of Pleasure (that's midnight until the early hours) -- harcore jungalist noise gabber mashup ahoy from the Ambush and Sick and Twisted folks.
